Corn steep liquor meal (CSL) is a liquid by-product from the corn starch industry. The corn kernels are soaked in hot water so that the grains become soft, which is called ‘steeping’, hence the name. During the ‘steeping’ process, various nutrients dissolve in the water. The soaking water is evaporated of which concentrated CSL is formed. A bit a sour flavoured cornmeal but verry attractive.
Dosage: 1-10%/kg
