Ground oyster shells are rich in calcium and quite heavy. Mixing ground oyster shells into your baits will give the bait a crunching effect. The sound of crushing and eating these shells can be heard from afar and encourages other fish in the area to join in the fun as well. By adding this ingredient, your boiles will also gain weight and thus you will be able to reach greater distances. This ingredient therefore adds value to your bait on several levels.
